Savannah- Carolyn Olsen Garrison, 82, died Friday, February 19, 2010 at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was a native and life long resident of Savannah, a member of Whitfield United Methodist Church and an avid bridge player. She was preceded in death by her husband
of 65 years, Cecil Lamar Garrison; parents, Ernest Olsen and Daisy Grissette Olsen, and sister, Nitie Olsen Collins.

Survivors include her son, Ernest Franklin Garrison and his wife, Doreen, of Pooler; daughter, Maura Elaine Garrison, of Savannah; three grandchildren, John Cecil Garrison, of Maryland, Christopher Kyle Garrison and Courtney Kendall Garrison, of Pooler; two great-grandchildren, Noah Garrison and Liam Garrison, of Maryland; two brothers, Eric Olsen and his wife, Sally, of Black Creek, Lawrence Olsen and his wife, Mary, of Schenectady, NY and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service: 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.
